Mr. S.R.Ansari worked as an Executive Director of Protik Ceramics Ltd. He is 70 years old. He graduated in Chemical Engr. from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 1973 and obtained extensive training on Ceramic Engr. from NIKKO (one of the most eminent ceramic industry in Japan) in 1997. Also completed his Post Graduation diploma on Industrial Management which is an advance course of MBA from Research Institute of Management Sciences (RVB) in Delft, Netherlands. Moreover, he is also trained in extensive Business Management in the leading institutions of the UK and Japan.
Mr. S.R.Ansari pioneered the ceramic industry by establishing the first bone china plant in Bangladesh in 1999. He is now globally acknowledged as one of the leading expert in ceramic tableware. An extended relationship with companies like Royal Doulton (UK), Richard Ginori (Italy) and Libbey (USA). During his professional career of more than 35 years, he had worked as Sr. General Manager of large national organization with strong reputation.
He had been working in Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd. which he established as General Manager, till October, 2007. His well planned guidance has enabled Shinepukur Ceramics Ltd. to lead the ceramic market with 60% of local and export market share. Before that, he was serving in Monno Group in 1984 where he established in first modern ceramic plant in the country. He also worked at Tabani Beverage Company Ltd. (an enterprise of BFFWT) till 1983. Mr. S.R.Ansari started his career in Mirpur Ceramics (a concern of BCIC) in 1974 as an Asst. Engineer.
Lastly, Mr. S.R.Ansari was served as head of the project (factory) of Protik Ceramics Ltd. & will also be responsible for overall operation of factory/ production beside that Mr. Ansari has also give his good advice for foreign procurement & export marketing for the benefit of the project.
Mr. S.R.Ansari currently is engaged with Core International as a Consultant and Advisor.
